Protester Injured in Hit-and-Run During Downtown LA Rally
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, a “No Kings” protester was struck by a burgundy sedan at 5th and Hill Streets in downtown Los Angeles.
The driver, who had a green light, accelerated despite the protester’s attempt to block the vehicle, running over her leg before fleeing the scene.
The woman, in her early 20s, suffered a lower leg injury and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Authorities are treating the incident as a hit-and-run and continue to investigate. The rally was part of a nationwide protest against ICE immigration raids and the Trump administration.
